FindOurCollege LLC (“FindOurCollege,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of every student, parent, and guardian who visits or uses our SAT Training website at sattrain.findourcollege.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have regarding your data.

Please read this policy carefully before submitting any information through our Site. By using our Site or enrolling in our SAT Training program, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our Site or services.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our Site. Our Services are currently delivered to students primarily in the United States. We intend to extend our Services to students in Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, and the Asia-Pacific region in the future, and this Privacy Policy is designed to apply to users in those regions as our Services expand there.

We collect information in two ways: information you provide to us directly, and information we collect automatically when you visit our Site.

Information You Provide to Us

When a parent, guardian, or student fills out an enrollment form or contacts us through our Site, we may collect the following:

• Full name of the student
• Full name of the parent or guardian
• Email address
• Phone number
• Student’s grade level (Grade 9, 10, 11, or 12)
• Intended SAT test date
• Any other information you voluntarily provide when contacting us

We do not collect payment card numbers or any financial account information directly. Payment for our services is accepted by bank check only. We do not use any third-party online payment processors.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit our Site, our third-party service providers and we may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Device type and operating system
• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referring website or source
• Date and time of your visit
• Approximate geographic location (such as city-level or regional location, derived from your IP address)

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel (formerly known as the Facebook Pixel), a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure the effectiveness of our outreach and understand how users engage with our Site after seeing our content. The Meta Pixel may collect certain information about your browser and actions on our Site. You can manage your Facebook ad preferences by visiting your Facebook account settings, or you can opt out of interest-based advertising by visiting www.youronlinechoices.com (EU) or www.aboutads.info/choices (US).

Types of Cookies We Use

• Strictly Necessary Cookies: These are essential for the Site to function correctly and cannot be switched off.
• Analytics Cookies: These allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our Site.
• Marketing Cookies: These are set by the Meta Pixel and may be used to build a profile of your interests.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. However, some parts of the Site may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

We take your privacy seriously. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, including advertisers, data brokers, or other education companies.

We may share your information in limited circumstances, as follows:

Service Providers: We use Zoom Video Communications, Inc. to conduct online SAT Training sessions. When you or your student participates in a session via Zoom, certain data is processed by Zoom in accordance with their privacy policy, which you can review at zoom.us/privacy.

Analytics and Advertising Providers: As described in Section 6, we share limited website usage data with Google and Meta through their respective tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and the Meta Pixel). This data is used to understand website performance and outreach effectiveness, and may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes under applicable California law. See Section 10 for information on how to opt out.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your personal information if we believe in good faith that doing so is required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FindOurCollege LLC, our students, parents, or others.

Business Transfers: If FindOurCollege LLC undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership and your choices in that event.

Other than the situations described above, your personal information remains with our internal team only and is not disclosed to any outside party.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

For enrolled students and their parents or guardians, we generally retain personal information for a period of six months to one year following the completion of the SAT Training program or the end of your engagement with us.

For inquiries that do not result in enrollment, we retain contact information for a similar period to allow us to follow up and respond to any questions.

If a parent or guardian requests deletion of a student’s data at any time before the above period expires, we will process that request promptly. See Section 10 for information on how to submit a deletion request.

After the applicable retention period, your personal information is securely deleted and permanently removed from our systems.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our SAT Training program is intended primarily for high school students in Grades 9 through 12, who are generally 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Because many of our students are minors (under the age of 18), our enrollment process requires that all enrollment forms be completed by a parent or guardian. By submitting an enrollment form on behalf of a student, the parent or guardian confirms that they have the legal authority to provide the student’s information on their behalf and to consent to the student’s participation in our program.

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our records. If you believe we may have collected information from or about a child under 13, please contact us immediately at contact@findourcollege.com.

For users in the EEA and UK, where the applicable age of digital consent may vary (from 13 to 16 depending on the member state or jurisdiction), parents and guardians of students under the relevant age of digital consent are required to provide consent on their child’s behalf before their child’s information may be processed.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Below is a summary of these rights by region.

United States — California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, and to the extent the CCPA/CPRA applies to our business, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
